Edemame, Tofu, Miso, Tempeh, Soy Milk..... These are a few of the versatile, nutritious products made of soy, a food that the healthiest people in the world have been consuming for generations.
In this two hour class, we will talk about the health benefits of soy foods and dispel the myths about these foods. Soy has gotten some bad press and we will set the record straight using research based facts.
Then we will prepare a variety of dishes- including an entree, salad, and dessert-- using several soy products. Fact sheets, recipes, a food demonstration, and tastings are all included.
